Flower Measurement

We used a large flower to measure ourselves and identify who was taller or shorter than the flower.
Then we painted 3 different size flowers and used Deanna Jump's recording sheet from here Spring math and literacy unit to identify which color flower was shorter or taller then the other flowers.

We celebrated letter Aa this week and had a great time doing lots of apple activities.

We cut open an apple and observed the insides. Then we labled the parts of an apple.

 

 

10 Apples Up On Top!

We read the book and created apples up on top of our heads.

We counted the apples and wrote the number on a recording sheet.

 







Apple Measurement!

We measured ourselves with apples and wrote how many apples tall we were and our friend was. Then we compared our measurements and identified who was shorter and who was taller.

 

Which Color Apple Do You Like Best?

We tasted red, green and yellow apples.

Unfortunately, we came out with a tie and we had to pretend it came out differently to discuss more and less. But I guess we covered same!
