St. Patrick's Day Math
We have been learning about addition, so in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, we made a leprechaun and used a 6-10 number cube and gold pieces to create and solve addition problems. First, I rolled a number cube and we practiced on the carpet counting the gold pieces to solve the problem. Then, the next day I gave the students their own number cube and an addition recording sheet and they created and solved their own problems. On the last day, the students cut and glued paper gold pieces and filled in a recording sheet to tell about the problem they created.

Grouchy Ladybug
We read The Grouchy Ladybug and illustrated and wrote about what make us grouchy. These always come out so cute and make me laugh.
We feel grouchy when....
we have to go to musc.
they yell at me in my socr gms.
mom put watr on my fas.
my mom owas max me eat.
her sisted taxs my lalepop.
the TV is loud.
Then for math that day we created a ladybug and used the spots to create an addition problem.
