We read The Hat by Jan Brett. We made a chart of the problems/events in the story. Then we made a Hedgie with his hat on and painted snow on it. This activity went along with our letter of the week "H".

Caps For Sale
In honor if letter H and hats, we read Caps For Sale and then retold the story by acting it out. The children had a great time being the monkeys from the story.
