We had a pajama day to introduce the our Day/Night Unit in Science. I read a bedtime story and tried to go to bed, but the kids stopped me. They said "Mrs. Wood, you can't go to sleep at school!" I said "Why not? I am wearing pajamas and read a bedtime story." They said because it is daytime. Then that led to a discussion about what type of things we do during the day and at night. We created a Venn Diagram to show things associated with day, night and both.
