Non Fiction Zoo

We compared zoo animals all week in Science. We compared Giraffes and Zebras, Lion and Tigers, Flamingos and Ostriches, and  Hippos and Elephants.

We read If anything Every Goes Wrong at The Zoo, The Animal Bop ( nouns and verbs) Flecity Floo and Never Ever Shout in the Zoo. The students did an illustration and writing response to each book.

Zoo Research

We chose a zoo animal to research and used computers and the Pebble Go website to learn about our animal. Then we collected and wrote information about our animal on a graphic organizer. Finally, we illustrated our animal and wrote sentences created from our graphic organizer.

Zoo Literature and Writing

We read Felicity Floo and talked about what would happen if we went to the zoo when we were sick. Then the students drew and wrote about it.

We read If Anything Ever Goes Wrong at The Zoo and drew and worte about if anything ever goes wrong at the zoo what animal could come to our house and why.

Never Ever Shout in a Zoo!

We read Never Ever Shout in a Zoo and drew and wrote why we thought you should never ever shout in a zoo.
