Shapes

On Monday, we read Shel Silverstien's Poem Shapes and created illustrations to go with it. On Tuesday, we read shape books including The Shape of Things, created a tree map, and illustrated different shapes and objects that were shaped like a rectangle, square, circle or triangle.

Shapes!

We learned about 2-D shapes this past week and did some great activities that made learning about shapes more fun. The shape sort came from April Larremore and the First it was... then is was came from Kinder by Kim.

Shapes

We learned about two-dimensional shapes this week. We constructed a tree map of shapes using real life objects.

We also read The Shape of Things and used pattern blocks the create our own pictures with shapes.

On Friday we read the poem Shapes by Shel Silverstein. Then we made our own illustrations to go with the poem.
