Cow Glyph

We tasted chocolate, strawberry, and white milk and created a cow glyph to show which milk we liked best. The glyph also shows us how many boys and girls are in our class, and if we like cows or pigs best. This glyph came from Deanna Jump's Farm unit which is available for purchase on TPT.

Monsters!

We read Go Away Big Green Monster and Leonardo the Terrible  Monster. Then we create a monster glyph based on our favorite color, if we are five or six years old, and which book was our favorite. Then we analyzed our glyphs.

Spider Glyph

We read Aaaarrgghh! Spider! and Itsy Bitsy Spider and talked about how we feel about spiders and our experiences with spiders. Then we constructed Deanna Jump's Spider Gpyph. Then we analyzed our glyphs by sorting and counting our spiders.
