New Years Fun!

We read Shante Key's and the Black Eyed Peas. Then we had a group discussion about what kind of things we did to celebrate New Years. We created a circle map of activities we do at New Years and made our own New Years people. The kids then wrote their New Years resolutions. Finally, we ate black eyed peas and created a graph to tell if we liked them or not.

We read Shante Keys and The New Years Peas, then we tasted black eyed peas for good luck. We talked about all the things we did on New Years and created a circle map of New Years Traditions. The students also created a face and decorated a party hat. We are working on our New Years Resolutions and will add them to the bulletin board when we are finished.
