Froggy Cupcakes!

On Friday, to end our Literature Study on Froggy, we read Froggy learns to swim, wore flip flops, and made Froggy cupcakes!

Froggy Writing

After reading Froggy books all week to celebrate the letter F, we drew and wrote about our favorite part of some of the Froggy books we read. The students' illustrations and writing are improving every week and they did an awesome job! Take a look for yourself at the great writing they did!

Froggy Venn Diagram

We made a Venn Diagram to compare ourselves to Froggy.

Froggy Glyph

After read Froggy's Sleepover and Froggy Plays Soccer, we made a glyph to help us make connections with characters in stories. They came out so cute!

Froggy!

To celebrate letter F, we read Froggy books with flashlights with our 2nd Grade reading buddies. Then I read Frogs by Gail Gibbons and we created a Venn Diagram comparing Froggy to a real frog. We also made TLC frogs.

Frogs

We make an ABC animal book each year and above you will see the letter f frog page. Each week we celebrate a different letter and read a book about the animal and the students make that animal. At the end of the year they have all 26 letters and I bind it in a book for them to take home. The ABC animal book can be purchased at http://www.tlclessons.com/.
