We read One Smart Cookie and discussed why we were smart cookies. The students wrote why they were smart cookies and we enjoyed some real cookies for snack. Later this week we are going to give our 4th grade buddy class a cookie in a bag with a tag that says You're One Smart Cookie to encourage them to do their best on their STARR writing assessment that they will be taking next week. We also made them a poster that has a cookie jar drawn on it and my students colored a paper cookie and signed their name to the inside of the cookie jar. I printed the words Mrs. ___________ Class are Smart Cookies! From the Smart Cookies in Mrs. Wood's Class. We will bring the poster and the cookies to them this week.
