There Is An Alligator Under My Bed

We read There is An Alligator Under My Bed by Mercer Mayer. We made predictions based on the illustrations, wrote a story map of the beginning, middle, and end, and we illustrated and wrote an extenstion of the story. I also found a video of Mercer Mayer reading the book and the kids loved it. It helped make the story more real and made making up an ending to the story easier.
