Brown Bear Brown Bear

 To review some of the color songs we have been learning this week, we read Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See? Then I gave them a sorting mat I found at makinglearningfun.com to color the animals from the story. I also gave them M&M's to sort on the mat and they counted how many of each color they had and wrote that number. When the children were finished they got to eat the M&M's. We follow the Gomez and Gomez Dual Language Model so the children work in small groups with Spanish and English speaking students together. They only complete one paper or activity and work together to help each other.
