We read The Snowy Day and made paper snowflakes. We talked about how every snow flake looks different. Then, the children had a great time making snow (INSTA Snow) and playing in it. Please click on the slide show below to view our work and us playing in the snow. We also learned about the winter season, weather in winter, and clothes we wear in winter. We played a fun game using ice. We experimented with different ways we could make the ice melt. We discovered that ice melts faster when salt is placed on it, but it also melts pretty fast when you place it in room temperature water.
