Abraham's Hat

Another great idea from my former teammate (April Larremore). We read Abraham's Hat and learned a few facts about Abraham Lincoln before he became the 16th President. In the story he keeps important papers in his hat because he was having a hard time keeping up with them. We talked about what things we might keep in a tall black hat if we had one. Then the students illustrated and wrote about what they would keep in their tall black hat.
