We read books about each celebration and country and created a craft to go with each. We learned about Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Posadas, St. Lucia, Christmas in Germany, and Christmas in France.
The kids created menorahs, kenoras, poinsettias, St. Lucia crowns, Christmas Tree Cards and Wooden Shoes. We severed and ate sweet rolls for St. Lucia and we put our shoes out for Sinter Claus and he left us some candy. I was out of town so I was not able to get pictures of everything, but substitute, Ms. White, did a great job!
