Parts of An Apple
We cut open an apple and observed the insides. Then we labled the parts of an apple.
10 Apples Up On Top!
We read the book and created apples up on top of our heads.
We counted the apples and wrote the number on a recording sheet.
Apple Measurement!
We measured ourselves with apples and wrote how many apples tall we were and our friend was. Then we compared our measurements and identified who was shorter and who was taller.
Which Color Apple Do You Like Best?
We tasted red, green and yellow apples.
Unfortunately, we came out with a tie and we had to pretend it came out differently to discuss more and less. But I guess we covered same!
Making Apple Sauce
To review our science concept on how heat changes things, we made applesauce!

ReplyDeleteI teach ESL in South Korea and will be doing an apple theme next week. Unfortunately, there is only the one red kind of apple here in Korea, so I can't do a taste test with my students. :(
I really like your apple ideas! Would you possibly be willing to share your apple pages? I would only use them for my classroom and wouldn't distribute them elsewhere.
