Nursery Rhyme Fun!

We read Nursery Rhymes this week and began to look at rhymes and how the ending of the words sound the same and most words look the same also. I write the rhymes color coding the onsets and rhymes so the kids can see how they are the same. We  sequenced pictures and words to re-tell the order of events in Humpty Dumpty and to reinforce our name study last week, we acted out Jack and Jill and Jack be Nimble using our names. The kids had great fun with this and I got some good action shots of them. We also made Humpty Dumpty and Hickory Dickory Dock art and circled the rhyming words.
