Clifford's Needs

We read Clifford the Small Red Puppy and talked about what Clifford needs. Then we wrote and drew pictures of things that Clifford needs.

    This is a really cool idea for a thematic unit! Kids really seem to like and connect with Clifford! The drawings are really cute;I'm sure they had a lot of fun with that! Another thing that you could have done is talk about different birthday traditions in the students' families. Ask how they celebrate their birthdays and compare it to the way Clifford celebrated his birthday!
