Oviparous Animals

In honor of letter E, we are learning about eggs and animals that lay eggs. We read Chickens Aren't the Only Ones and made a list of animals that lay eggs. Then, we drew an animal that hatches out of an egg on a paper egg and added a paper shell cracking around it. The students labeled their drawing by sounding out the animal name.
