To end our unit on Community Helpers, we had a very special visit from the Grand Prairie Fire Department. The kids really enjoyed looking at all of the equipment and getting to climb on the firetruck. I was volunteered to put on the fireman gear. It was quite heavy and the kids loved it. We also made firetrucks.
