We welcomed in the new year by reading Shante Key's and the
New Year's Peas. We learned what people from different countries
eat on new years for good luck. The kids had a great time tasting
black eye peas for luck and we made a human graph of who liked
them and who did not. Ten children liked them and 6 did not.
More children like black eye peas than did not. We also drew a
picture of our new years resolutions. See the slideshow below to
